Care

We aim to provide our residents with the highest level of care at St. David's.

St. David's Care Home owners, Lisa and Ivan Cornford are both registered nurses with over 20 years of experience in a variety of care settings. They are supported by a team of staff who receive regular training and development

Upon admission a keyworker is allocated to each new resident. This is a senior member of staff who will work with a resident and their family to draw up a personal care plan. This plan is based upon individual needs and lifestory. The plan is kept in the resident's room so it is easily accessible to staff, residents and family. The care plan is regularly reviewed and updated as necessary. At least every 6 months a meeting will be held to discuss all aspects of care.
